Legendary NBA coach Gregg Popovich suffers mild stroke

The head coach of the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA), Gregg Popovich, 75, suffered a mild stroke, the Spurs’ website reports.

The legendary coach sought medical help on November 2 and has already started the rehabilitation program. He is expected to make a full recovery.

So far, however, it is not known when Popovich will resume work.

At present, his assistant Mitch Johnson is the acting head coach of Spurs.
