World number three Carlos Alcaraz reached the semifinals of the ATP-500 China Open series tournament held in Beijing. The Spanish tennis player met with the 27th racket of the world, Russian Karen Khachanov and won 7:5, 6:2. The match lasted 1 hour and 36 minutes.
In the semifinals, Alcaraz's opponent will be world No. 5 Daniil Medvedev of Russia.
The prize fund of the tournament in Beijing is 3.7 million dollars.
