Nations League: Armenian national team wins confident victory over Latvia (video)

Within the first round match of the Nations League, the Armenian national team scored a confident 4:1 victory over the Latvian team at the Republic Stadium.

"Pogon" midfielder Vahan Bichakhchyan opened the scoring in the match on the 6th minute. The author of the goal was "Lokomotiv" Moscow defender Nair Tiknizyan.

In the 9th minute, the guests scored a goal by Greek “Kallithea” forward Roberts Uldrikis.

Kaspars Dubra, a defender of the Latvian national team and Latvian "Panevezys," scored an own goal on 35 minutes.

The third goal of the Armenian national team was scored by 31-year-old midfielder of Saudi Arabia's "Al-Fateh" Lucas Zelarayan in the 48th minute.

Russian “Krasnodar” midfielder Eduard Spertsyan finalized the match - 4:1.

On September 10, the Armenian national team, under the leadership of Alexander Petrakov, will play against the team of Northern Macedonia.
