In the Round of 64, the Muscovite Armenian tennis player eliminated Francisco Cerundolo (Argentina), ranked 28th in the world, in two sets: 6:0, 6:3.
Khachanov's opponent in the Round of 32 will be world No. 4 Alexander Zverev (Germany).
The prize fund of the Cincinnati Masters is $6.7 million.
