Cincinnati Masters: Armenia's Elina Avanesyan loses in qualifiers’ final

Elina Avanesyan, the 58th ranked women’s tennis player in the world, could not reach the main round of the Cincinnati Masters tournament being held in the US.

In the final of the qualifiers, the representative of Armenia competed with world's 78th ranked Harriet Dart (UK), who won in two sets: 6:4, 6:1.

In the first round of qualifiers, the 21-year-old Armenian athlete had defeated world's 410th ranked Lauren Davis (USA) 6:3, 6:1.

The prize fund of the Cincinnati Masters is $3.2 million.
