DONETSK. – The official website of Ukraine’s FC Shakhtar Donetsk conducted an online voting to determine the scorer of the club’s best goal that was netted during the first round of the current season in the Ukrainian league.
As a result, Armenian national football team and Shakhtar midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s first goal that he scored against Arsenal Kyiv was selected second, as 19.64 percent of the fans voted for the 23-year-old player’s goal.
In line with the voting, the Ukrainian club’s best goal was scored by Croatian defender Darijo Srna, as 23.96 percent voted for the Shakhtar captain’s goal which he netted against FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
And Brazilian striker Luiz Adriano’s goal scored against FC Metalist Kharkiv was voted as the club’s third best goal, with 17 percent, during the first round of the current season in the Ukrainian league, FC Shakhtar Donetsk’s official website informs.
