The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has issued its latest weekly world rankings, where 21-year-old Russian Armenian Elina Avanesyan (Russia) advance 18 spots and is 58th now.
Last week, Avanesyan reached the final of a WTA tournament for the first time in her professional tennis career. She lost to Mirra Andreeva (Russia) in the final of the Iasi Open in Romania.
The top ten of the WTA world rankings has not changed, and Iga Swiatek (Poland) is still No.1.
