But the star forwards of Inter Miami, Argentinian Lionel Messi and Uruguayan Luis Suarez, did not play in this match because they are participating in the Copa America with their national teams.
Inter Miami's Finnish midfielder Robert Taylor opened the score in the 30th minute. In the 41st minute, Charlotte equalized by way of their Ghanaian forward Patrick Agyemang. And Argentinian midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi’s goal, in the 86th minute, brought victory to Inter Miami.
After 22 games, Inter Miami top the current MLS standings, with 47 points.
