Georgian national team and Italian Napoli striker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia commented on his participation in Euro 2024 in a post made on social networks. In the 1/8 finals the team led by French Willy Sagnol lost to Spain with the score 1:4.
"We leave the European Championship with a proud and raised head, with wonderful emotions and memories. We gave a lot of joy and pride to the people and the country.
I would like to thank everyone. We will continue to work, evolve and come back stronger," Kvaratskhelia wrote.
The Georgian national team took part in the final tournament of the European Championship for the first time.
