World No. 2 Jannik Sinner has reached the quarterfinals of the French Open (Roland-Garros).
The Italian tennis star defeated World No. 79 Corentin Moutet (France) in four sets—2:6, 6:3, 6:2, 6:1—in the fourth round. The match lasted 2 hours and 41 minutes.
Sinner’s opponent in the quarterfinals will be World No. 10 Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria), who had beaten World No. 8 Hubert Hurkacz (Poland) in the fourth round.
The prize fund of the French Open is 53.4 million euros.
