The new German Bundesliga champions, Bayer Leverkusen, have repeated the record of Portugal’s Benfica (1963-1965) for the number of consecutive unbeaten matches in European football.
Leverkusen won 5-1 against Eintracht Frankfurt in the 32nd round of the Bundesliga.
Bayer Leverkusen have not lost in 48 games in a row.
Leverkusen have 84 points so far in the current Bundesliga season.
