La Liga: Barca win, Lewandowski scores hat-trick

Reigning champions Barcelona hosted Valencia and won 4-2 in the 33rd round of Spain's La Liga.

Robert Lewandowski, the Polish star striker of Barca, scored a hat-trick.

Valencia were down to 10 players in the added time of the first half. Their Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili was sent off for touching the ball with his hand outside the penalty area in a challenge with Barcelona’s Spanish striker Lamine Yamal.

Barca are second, with 73 points, in the current La Liga standings, and 2 points ahead of Girona in third place. Valencia are eighth, with 47 points. The current leaders, Real Madrid, have 84 points.
