Miami Open: Carlos Alcaraz out unexpectedly 

World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz could not reach the semifinals of the Miami Open.

In the quarterfinals of this tournament, the Spanish tennis star faced world No. 12 Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria), and lost in two sets: 2:6, 4:6. The match lasted 1 hour and 33 minutes.

Dimitrov's opponent in the semifinals will be world No. 5 Alexander Zverev (Germany).

The other spot to the final will be contested between world No. 3 Jannik Sinner (Italy) and world No. 4 Daniil Medvedev (Russia) 

The prize fund of the Miami Open is $8.9 million.
