World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz has reached the quarterfinals of the Indian Wells Masters being held in the US.
In the Round of 16 of this tournament, the Spanish tennis star defeated world No. 58 Fabian Marozsan (Hungary) in two sets: 6:3, 6:3. The match lasted 1 hour and 16 minutes.
The next opponent of Alcaraz will be the winner of the confrontation between Alexander Zverev (Germany) and Alex De Minaur (Australia) in the Round of 16.
The prize fund of the Indian Wells Masters is $8.9 million.
