Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior opened the score for Real in the 21st minute. In the 79th minute, the visitors' Spanish goalkeeper Vicente Guaita scored an own goal. In the 88th minute, Spanish defender Carlos Dominguez also netted an own goal. And in the fourth minute of added time, Turkish midfielder Arda Guler scored the home team's fourth goal.
Real Madrid lead the current La Liga standings, with 69 points, and are 7 points ahead of Girona in second placed. Celta Vigo are seventeenth, with 24 points.
