Armenian international player undergoes successful surgery

Armenian national football team and Poland’s Lechia Gdańsk defender Levon Hayrapetyan underwent an operation on Wednesday in Munich. The 23-year-old player’s knee surgery went successfully, Hayrapetyan himself told NEWS.am Sport.

To note, Levon Hayrapetyan had sustained an injury to his knee on September 11 during the Armenian national squad’s 2014 World Cup Brazil qualifying Group B away match against Bulgaria, where the host nation defeated Armenia by a score of 1-0. Hayrapetyan was injured toward the end of the first half and had to be substituted.

Levon Hayrapetyan is expected to return to the pitch in about four months.
