Hovhannes Harutyunyan transfers from Yerevan's Pyunik to Russia's Sochi

Hovhannes Harutyunyan, a midfielder of the Armenian national football squad, transferred from Pyunik, the current leaders of the Armenian Premier League, to Russia’s Sochi club, informs the press service of the Yerevan club.

Harutyunyan, 24, played in various age groups of Pyunik football academy and made his debut in the main team of the club in 2016.

He returned to his club from Ararat-Armenia in 2021 and helped the team win the Armenian Premier League title.
In the summer of 2022, Harutyunyan made a big contribution to Pyunik's historic European cup campaign.

Last season, Harutyunyan crossed the 100 appearance threshold at Pyunik.

After returning to Pyunik, he was called to the Armenian national team for the first time and gradually strengthened his position in the squad.

Also, Harutyunyan was in the top five of the voting for Armenia’s footballer of the year for 2022.

Transfermarkt estimates the transfer value of Hovhannes Harutyunyan at 400 thousand euros.
