World No. 15th ranked Karen Khachanov (Russia) has reached the Round of 16 at the Paris Masters.
The Muscovite Armenian tennis star competed with world No. 34 Laslo Djere (Serbia) in the Round of 32 and won in two sets: 6:4, 7:5. The match lasted 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Khachanov's opponent in the Round of 16 will be the winner of the Round of 32 clash between world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) and world No. 45 Roman Safiullin (Russia).
The prize fund of the Paris Masters is €5.7 million.
