2018 European judo champion Ferdinand Karapetyan has become a father. The athlete told NEWS.am Sport about it from Moscow.
"My first child was born on March 12. We have named him Robert. It is a great happiness, I am extremely happy, we have been waiting for him for a long time," said Karapetyan.
The leader of the Armenian men’s national judo team got married in March 2021.
The 2018 European champion is now preparing for the tournament to be held in Georgian capital Tbilisi on March 24-26. According to Karapetyan, he will compete for a spot to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
