Dutch forward Cody Gakpo, Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez, and Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah scored two goals apiece. Another goal was scored by Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino.
After 25 games, Man United are third, with 49 points, in the current Premier League standings, and Liverpool are fifth, with 42 points.
