Djokovic wins his 24th consecutive AusOpen

Novak Djokovic, 21-time Grand Slam champion and fifth-ranked player in the world, reached the 1/8 finals of the Australian Open.

In the third round, the nine-time champion met the 28th-ranked Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov and won in three sets, 7-6 (9-7), 6-3, 6-4.

The Serbian tennis player twice sought help from a doctor because of an injury to his left hip.

Djokovic won his 24th consecutive Australian Open title. His next opponent will be the 24th player in the world, Australian Alex de Minaur.
