Khalid al-Misslam, a photojournalist who covered the World Cup, died in Qatar. He was accredited by Al Kass TV in Doha. Causes and details of the death were not disclosed, the Gulf Times reported.
This is the second death among journalists accredited to the World Cup. Earlier, CBS American journalist Grant Wahl died at the stadium. His brother said that Grant Wahl had received threats in Qatar for expressing support for the LGBT community.
The World Cup will end on December 18.
