The Spanish national team scored three goals in the first half of the opening game of the World Cup. The team led by Luis Enrique competed against the Costa Ricans and won 3-0.
As early as the 11th minute, Dani Olmo, the 24-year-old midfielder for Germany's RB Leipzig, opened the scoring (video). The goal was the 100th for Spain in the World Cup finals.
In the 21st minute, 26-year-old Real Madrid striker Marco Asensio stood out after a pass from 33-year-old Barcelona defender Jordi Alba (video).
In the 31st minute, 22-year-old Barcelona striker Ferran Torres spectacularly converted a penalty kick (video).
