Italy faced Poland in the final of the Volleyball Men's World Championship in Katowice, Poland, and won in three sets to one to win the title.
The Italians had won this title last time 24 years ago.
Brazil and Slovenia faced each for bronze medals, and the Brazilians won—also in three sets to one.
