Manchester United sign 4-year deal with Casemiro

Manchester United have acquired midfielder Casemiro from Real Madrid, signing a four-year contract with him—and with the option to extend it for a further year, reported the Man United press service.

The Brazil international has played over 550 professional games, including 63 for his country. He has won 22 major honors in his career, including five Champions League titles and the Copa America.

“I have worked with many great managers in my career and, having met with [Man United manager] Erik [ten Hag] and heard his ideas, I can’t wait to work closely with him, his staff and my new team-mates in the coming years,” Casemiro, 30, said, in particular, at his new club.
