Armenian national football team and Ukraine’s FC Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is at the focus of the Germen Bundesliga’s leading clubs.
Germany’s champion Borussia Dortmund and bronze-medalist Gelsenkirchen-Schalke 04 are interested in the services of the 23-year-old player, Tuttomercatoweb reports. After Mkhitaryan’s impressive game displayed in the Champions League and the 2014 World Cup Brazil qualifiers, the interest toward him has grown in Germany.
As NEWS.am Sport informed earlier, Henrikh Mkhitaryan had scored Armenia’s only goal against Italy during the two teams’ 2014 World Cup Brazil qualifying Group B match, which was played at Armenian capital city Yerevan on October 12 and the Azzurri had defeated the hosts by a score of 3-1.
