Artur Davtyan, the leader of the Armenian men’s national artistic gymnastics team and bronze medalist of the Tokyo Olympics, placed first in the final of the Vault event in the current round of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup Cottbus, in Germany.
The European champion amassed 14,983 points.
Earlier, Armenia’s European silver medalist Vahagn Davtyan also became a medalist in this tournament. He placed second in the Rings event, with 14,600 points.
Team Armenia have ended their campaign in the Cottbus World Cup.
The next round will take place in Doha.
