Beijing 2022: Italy's first gold medal

Italy won its first gold medal at the 24th Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Arianna Fontana became short track's most decorated skater with her second Olympic medal in Beijing and 10th of her career.

The title of vice-champion was won by the representative of the Netherlands Suzanne Schulting, the third was the Canadian Kim Boutin.
