The chairman of the referee committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Ashot Khachaturyants was unanimously elected to the post of president of the Russian Premier League (RPL), the press service of the league reports.
Ashot Khachaturyants replaced Sergei Pryadkin, who resigned on October 5. 60-year-old Pryadkin headed the RPL since November 14, 2007.
