“I’m back!”, stated former Armenian world boxing champion Vic Darchinyan, 36, (38-5-1, 27KOs), who beat previously undefeated Puerto Rican Luis Del Valle by a unanimous decision on September 29 in the United States, and captured the North American Boxing Federation (NABF) light flyweight championship belt.
“I’m back! I feel good at this weight. I feel strong. He’s a tough kid. I just felt I was in a different class than him,” Boxingscene quotes Vic Darchinyan as saying.
“I let him impose his style. My hat’s off to him. He was the better man [on the night of September 29],” Del Valle said in his turn.
