Whoscored.com has named Armenia’s Tigran Barseghyan as its Man of the Match in Sunday’s second-round clash between Armenia and Iceland in the group stage of the European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
Accordingly, the Armenian forward of FC Astana of Kazakhstan has received a score of 8.3. Barseghyan was among Armenia’s starters in the aforesaid game, he played the full match, scored one goal, and made an assist.
Armenia won 2-0 in the match in Yerevan, and for the first time started with two wins in World Cup qualifiers. Armenia will play their next qualifier on Wednesday, as they will host Romania in Yerevan.
