Midfielder for the Ukraine national football team Viktor Kovalenko moved from Shakhtar Donetsk to Atalanta, the Ukrainian football club’s press service reported, adding that the 24-year-old footballer will sign a four-and-a-half-year contract.
Shakhtar received only EUR 700,000 from the transfer since his contract was supposed to end after this season.
This season, Kovalenko played 11 matches and scored 4 goals during all championships with Shakhtar. Transfermarkt rates his transfer price at EUR 6,000,000.
