New York Knicks head coach resigns

New York Knicks chief coach Mike D'Antoni resigned on Wednesday.

Chief coach Mike D'Antoni, as well as two assistances Phil Weber and Dan D'Antoni resigned after the NBA team recorded a six-game losing streak.

D’Antoni’s Assistant Mike Woodson is appointed acting coach for the team.

Possible successor may be Phil Jackson, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Earlier rumors were circulated that the club will face changes conditioned by unsatisfactory performances.
