During a session, the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Armenia confirmed the change of the names of the teams of Yerevan’s Banants football club. From now on, the former Banants football club will play under the name “Urartu” during the Premier and First Leagues, as reported the press service of the Football Federation of Armenia.
FC Urartu will compete with FC Shirak in Gyumri during the starting round of the Premier League championship to be held on August 2 in Armenia. The match will start at 5 p.m.
