The WBO Super Middleweight Championship bout between challenger—and former IBF Middleweight Champion—Armenian boxer Arthur Abraham (34-3, 27KOs) and reigning champion Robert Stieglitz (42-2, 23KOs), took place on Saturday in Berlin.
As a result, 32-year-old Abraham defeated Stieglitz, and thus took the WBO Super Middleweight Championship belt.
Arthur Abraham was declared the winner on unanimous decision, with the judges scoring the bout 116-112, 116-112, and 115-113, all in Abraham’s favor.
