On June 8 and 9, the Kung Fu World Cup will be held in Yerevan.
About 300 athletes from 17 countries will take part in the event. All athletes have already arrived in Armenia.
According to the President of the Kung Fu Federation of Armenia Sarkis Harutyunyan, the World Championship to be held in Yerevan will be a great event for fans of oriental martial arts.
“At the initiative of the International Federation, the first International Kung Fu World Cup is held in Armenia,” he said.
According to him, last year an open kung-fu championship was held in Armenia.
The official opening of the Kung Fu World Cup will be held on June 8 at the Mika sports complex at 7pm Yerevan time.
