Armenian National Football Team Coach: We believe we can win Euro-2016 qualifier

YEREVAN. - We believe and theoretically it’s still possible that we can win in the qualifier, Sargis Hovsepyan, chief coach of Armenian national football team said at the press-conference ahead of the Euro-2016 qualifier meeting against Portugal.

“Each coach has his own game style. As to Arthur Yedigaryan, each coach has his own opinion. Let us trust the coach. You are non-professionals and you don’t know the fitness level of the football players. We must try to play our football. We can play successfully.

Both Karlen Mkrtchyan and Levon Hayrapetyan are in good form. We are fully focused on the upcoming match. Our aim is to win. We believe that we can manage everything. I can assure you, only those football players will appear on the field, who are 100 per cent fit,” he said.

Euro-2016 qualifier Armenia-Portugal will take place on June 13, 20:00 in the Republican Stadium of Yerevan. 3 days following this match, the Portugal team will hold a friendly match with Italians.
