Armenia national football squad and Borussia Dortmund (BVB) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan shared his impressions after the BVB’s German DFB-Pokal semifinal penalty shootout defeat of Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening.
“This [is] exceptional feeling when you are in Finaaaaaaaaaaaaaaale!” the 26-year-old Armenia international wrote on his Facebook account, and he also posted a respective photograph.
At the match, which was played in Munich, Mkhitaryan entered the pitch in the 70th minute, and five minutes later, he provided an assist which took the game to extra time and, subsequently, to the penalty shootout.
To note, Bayern Munich are the reigning German champions.
