Capello: Italy should try to be like Spain and Germany

The main problem of Italian football is the absence of an educated work by the coaches of the children’s and the youth teams.

The Russian national football squad’s Italian manager Fabio Capello stated the aforementioned.

“The youth football should be a factory of class players. You need to teach them technique, whereas in Italy, coaches teach tactics to ten-year-old children.

“There are always difficulties in Italian football. We need to emulate the track-record of Spain and Germany. The establishment of the clubs’ second teams is mandatory there; this enables to achieve a competitive level at eighteen years old,” Gazzetta Regionale quoted Capello as saying.
