Reining WBO Super Middleweight Champion Robert Stieglitz (46-3, 26KOs) and former champion and current contender Arthur Abraham (38-4, 28KOs) held a news conference Tuesday in Germany.

The two fighters reflected on their next fight, which is slated for March 1 in Magdeburg, Germany, and which will be their third encounter on the boxing ring.

“I am looking forward to the fight. I will do everything on March 1 to regain my champions title,” Armenian boxer Arthur Abraham, 33, stated.

“Now, I have but one objective: to win and write my name in boxing history. Holding a championship fight against the same opponent three times is something new,” German Robert Stieglitz, 32, noted, Boxen.de reports.

The March 1 clash will be the third championship encounter between the two boxers. Arthur Abraham had won the first fight and become the WBO Super Middleweight Champion, whereas Robert Stieglitz had become the winner in the second bout and regained his championship belt.
