This match is the real final – Xavi

If we win, we will gain the championship title, stated Xavi Hernández, central midfielder for the Spanish national football team and La Liga club FC Barcelona, prior to the latter’s Round 35 La Liga match against FC Real Madrid.     

“This match is truly a final. It will decide everything. If we win, we will gain the championship title, and I am confident. If Real wins, everything will be over for us in the championship.     

We caught up to them virtually at the end of the season. It will be very painful if we fail to take the victory. Our destiny is in our hands. We will attack more and better than usual.  

Real has often changed its tactic in its games against us, but we always played the same football and won,” L`Equipe quotes Xavi as saying.
