La Liga: Real beat Barca

Current leaders Real Madrid played host to Barcelona, in second place, and won 3-2 in their El Clasico in the 32nd round of the Spanish La Liga.

Andreas Christensen, the Danish defender of the Catalan club, opened the scoring in the 6th minute. In the 18th minute, Real's Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior converted a penalty. In the 69th minute, Spanish midfielder Fermin Lopez netted

Barca’s second goal. In the 73rd minute, Real's Spanish midfielder Lucas Vasquez restored the tie. And Real Madrid's winning goal was scored by English midfielder Jude Bellingham in extra time.

Real lead the current La Liga standings, with 81 points, and are 11 points clear of Barcelona.
