Following the Chess World Cup 2013, GM Levon Aronian and his girlfriend Arianne are vacationing in Italy. According to Aronian’s Facebook page, the Armenian chess master—who plays first board for the three-time World Chess Olympiad champion Armenian national team and is ranked second in the FIDE ratings—is enjoying his holidays in the Calabria region in Southern Italy.
To note, Levon Aronian will participate in the Sinquefield Cup tournament to be held in Saint Louis, US, from September 9 to 15. Subsequently, he will compete in the world team tournament.
