Messi “bypasses” Ronaldo

Argentinean national football team’s and the Spanish La Liga’s FC Barcelona striker Lionel Messi scored two goals during the Club’s La Liga match against Real Zaragoza, and thus he got around the Portuguese national and La Liga’s FC Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo in the competition for the Golden boot.       

So as of Monday, Messi has scored 38 goals and received 76 points, whereas Ronaldo scored 37 goals and he has 74 points.

The goals scored during the Spanish, English, Italian, German, and French championships are multiplied by two in the battle for the Golden Boot.
