The representative of Armenia Arsen Sargsyan, competing in the long jump, was not able to reach the final (8 participants) of the 32nd European Athletics Indoor Championships held in Sweden. With the result of 7.44 meters Arsen Sargsyan took 20th place in qualifying round.
Russia’s Aleksandr Menkov won gold, showing 8.31 meters result.
Amalia Sharoyan participated in 400 meters. In the preliminary race Sharoyan showed the last result (56.35) and did not advance to the semifinals. The representative of Great Britain Perry Shakes-Drayton won the race with 50.85 seconds.
