Sporting Lisbon have become the Liga Portugal champions for the 20th time.
In the 32nd round, Benfica lost to Famalicao, by a score of 0-2, and lost the chance to reach the current leaders, Sporting.
Sporting, on the other hand, had won 3-0 against Portimonense in the 32nd round and have 84 points. Benfica, which are in second place, have 76 points. There are two rounds left in the current Liga Portugal season.
Sporting are third in the most number of Liga Portugal titles. The record holders are Benfica (38), and Porto (30) are second.
