I always root for Armenia national team – Russian football club physician

KRASNODAR. – Several Spartak footballers play in the Russia national squad, but I will cheer on the Armenia national team.
FC Spartak Moscow (Russia) team physician Mikhail Vardapetov told the aforesaid to NEWS.am Sport, ahead of Wednesday’s friendly match between the two national squads.
“I always root for the Armenian national team, even if they point a gun at me. I believe Armenia will win by a goal.
“[Armenia international and Spartak forward] Yura Movsisyan is ready for the game. I hope he will be fully geared up.
“But [Armenia international and Spartak midfielder] Aras [Ozbilis] will not play [due to an injury]; he trained with an individual program in the morning,” Vardapetov said.
The Russia-Armenia friendly will be played in Krasnodar, Russia, and its official kick-off is at 6pm, Armenia time.
