Ֆրանսիան առաջին անհատական ոսկե մեդալը նվաճեց Փարիզի Օլիմպիական խաղերում։ Լեռնային հեծանվավազքի (մաունթինբայք) կանանց կրոս-քանթրիում հաղթեց Պոլին Ֆերան-Պրեւոն։

Արծաթե մեդալակիր դարձավ ամերիկացի Հեյլի Բաթենը։ Երրորդ տեղում է շվեդ Իենե Ռիսվեդսը։

Ֆրանսիայի առաջին ոսկե մեդալը նվաճել էր ռեգբիի տղամարդկանց թիմը։
