Armenian national footballer extends contract with Iranian club

Armenian national football team’s central defender Valery Alexanyan extended his contact with Sanat Naft Football Club of Abadan, Iran. 

The new agreement will be in effect until the end of the 2012-2013 season, the 27-year-old player told NEWS.am Sport.  

To note, Alexanyan was transferred to Sanat Naft from Armenian capital city Yerevan’s FC Ulis in 2011.  

Valery Alexanyan played 22 matches with Sanat Naft in the Iranian league’s last season, and the Club came in tenth.
