YEREVAN.- Armenian U21national team started off successfully the European Championships, however, results of the recent two matches were not satisfactory, manager Rafael Nazaryan said at a press conference on Monday.

Armenian team will face Andorra on Tuesday in the qualifying round.

“Trainings are held as usual, players have no injuries. I believe Tuesday match is going to be very tough, as we are not underestimating the opponent. It is very difficult to play against a team, which plays a defensive game,” he added.

In response to the NEWS.am Sport question about the tactics, Nazaryan said the youth team plays with the same model as the national does.

“This match will not be an exception. We have always played with the same tactics as the national team. Regarding the match itself, the players would have success if mood and speed in attacking actions were proper. At the same time results for the recent two matches were unsatisfactory. However, frankly speaking, the Czech team still proves to be a favorite in the group,” he said.

Armenian youth national has 8 points after five matches and occupies the fourth position. It can jump to the second line if defeating the Andorrans.
